Here are a few things we recommend to everyone visiting for the first time.

A Tour of the Art Gallery

Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts is a must-see and designed to appeal to all living in or visiting Gymea. In addition to a major public gallery, there is a comprehensive arts center that caters to the community’s needs.

Other major attractions in this spectacular establishment include exhibitions, café, film clubs, and shopping experiences. You can also take a stroll in the beautiful garden.

Nature Time at Royal National Park

If you truly want to enjoy time in nature, the best place to go to is the Royal National Park. This well-maintained park offers the ultimate nature experience in the southern part of Sydney.

There are a lot of activities you can enjoy here, including bushwalking, bird watching, and whale watching. You can also fish and enjoy a few other water activities in the park.

The barbecue experience in the park is always fantastic. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the park may be closed sometimes, so you should endeavor to go early. At the moment, it requires reservations too.

A Tour of Sydney Tramway Museum

It is easy to get to Pitt St., Loftus, in the southern suburb of Sydney, from Hazelhurst Gallery Gymea. This is where the Sydney Tramway Museum is located. Recognized as Australia’s oldest tramway museum, this is also the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere.

Taking a ride in one of the oldest types of trams is like taking a step back in time. The experience is often surreal.

A Good Dance at the Vinyl Room

Do you love a retro dance party or want a fun way to unwind? The Vinyl Room is the right place to be when you are spending the night in Gymea. Located at 52 Gymea Bay Rd., this is one of the nicest nightclubs in this part of Australia. You can dance the night away with a really nice crowd, and the drink is actually cheap. No matter when you decide to leave the club, transportation is never really an issue.

A Trip to Nina’s Chocolate

If you are a chocolate lover, then you really need to visit Nina’s Chocolate for the best handmade creations you have ever seen. Even if you are not so interested in chocolate, the experience you will get here can be life-changing. Located at 27 Gymea Bay Rd, Gymea NSW, this reputable establishment knows no compromise when it comes to impressing the most discerning chocolate lovers.
