Putt Planet is a wonderfully eclectic miniature golf facility in the Miranda suburb in southern Sydney. Completely indoors and wheelchair accessible, Putt Planet is a great place to go to hang out with friends and family.
Located at Unit 1, 205 Port Hacking Road, Miranda, Putt Planet’s interior is designed to resemble Old Mombasa’s streets in Kenya. Street signs adorn the walls, and the decor is stunning and detailed.
You will enjoy the scenery as you putt through all 18 holes of the mini-golf course. Putt Planet offers food and drinks in their Jungle Joker’s Café, so you can take your time while you enjoy your refreshments with friends.
Food Close to Putt Planet
There are many options for food close to Putt Planet if you choose to dine elsewhere. Directly north on Port Hacking Road, you will find Hungry Jack’s Burgers at the intersection of Port Hacking and Box Road.
East of Hungry Jack’s is another café called The Ugly Cook, which serves various dishes that bring in glowing reviews on Google. The Ugly Cook, at the roundabout intersection of Box Road and Belgrave Esplanade, is in the same building as Antonio’s Pizzeria.
If you follow Port Hacking Road south to the intersection with The Boulevarde and then take Kiora Road south, you will find other options at the Kingsway and Kiora intersection. El Camino Cantina Miranda and Tasty Tandoori Indian offer diverse options depending on your preference.
Activities Close to Putt Planet
If you do not want to spend your entire day on the mini-golf course, there are other activities close to Putt Planet.
Immediately across Port Hacking Road to the east of Putt Planet is the Sylvania Par 3 golf course. If the weather is nice, enjoy some bigger swings on this beautifully-treed outdoor course.
Depending on what events are going on, there are several outdoor recreation facilities east of Putt Planet on Belgrave Esplanade:
- Sylvania Waters Tennis Centre
- Southern Districts Rugby Club
- Sylvania Waters Athletic Track Cronulla Sharks Baseball Club
You can even rent a boat at Finz Boat Hire and take a self-directed trip along the Georges River. Finz Boat Hire is also on Belgrave Esplanade, which is directly north of Forshaw Park.
